It would also be a massive file, that you would have to sift through to find the plugins you want anyway. I suspect your suggesting "A file that contains all the plugins YOU use" Of course you can do this yourself anyway, just keep all the install files in one directory of your first install, and when you have to reinstall, they will all be in one place, ready to go.

It may be tedious, but thats the way it is - you would have to redo the archive everytime someone adds a new plugin or updates one as well, so it would be an administration overhead too.
Lets face it, no-one uses *all* the plugins anyway!
