Topic: how do i broadcast using my virtual dj?

i heard that i can broadcast my mixes either on the web or to a friends computer.......how do i do either?

Go to the recording tab click on broadcast from there its easy to configure. Be shure you are connected directly to the internet not through a firewall if you are behind a firewall you have to configure it to let vdj send data.
 
 
when i try to broadcast it gives me a link to share with others so that they can hear, but when they click on that link it takes them to an error page,,,,,,why is that
 
You need to focus on the bit of the guide regarding port forwarding you need to forward the ports or it will be a dead link and you need to give your routers IP not your internal address.
 
how do i foward the ports, i went to the guide but it dont tell me how
 
Which model of router do you have?

It will be on the router settings usually under the sections of IP Forwarding or Static Routes.

Do you know which one?

I would suggest you consult the manual for your router to check out the port forwarding features.

If you are not sure which one you have it is tricky to look it up for you.
 
i broadcast my virtual dj live mixes through www.listen2myradio.com and it works for persons in my country, but when ever i send the link to anyone i kno in another country, they say it doesnt work. i dont kno y? is there any restrictions? anyone can help?

oh by the way i live in Jamaica and it doesnt work for ma frens in the U.S
anyone can help then let me kno plz.
