Crash ID=0045b3e0 (date=809010159, version=5.1 Pro, build=510, thread=Screen, dump=8b0283c2, excode=c0000005 (0,0))

I was playing Bon Jovi - It's My Life on the left deck (mpg) and I loaded in another mpg. As soon as I dragged the track onto the right deck, I got the error message. I was able to recover, but it still sucked.

I have never had a crash like this before and VDJ has been very stable for me, which is why I was so shocked. I have a PC - Vista 32 bit (SP1). 4 GB of RAM, a Intel Core 2 Duo (T9300 @ 2.50 GHz). I'm running VDJ 5.1 (not 5.2). I'm using the 1280x800 skin which I've used for a long time with no errors. It happened after about 3 1/2 hours of spinning, but I've gone far longer and not had this error.

This crash is already fixed in 5.2

What happened, though - that's what I want to know.

Anyone? I'd like to know WHY it happened. Your answer is insufficient.

Still kind of waiting on this one. I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for an explanation behind the error and how one of the very minor changes listed in the 5.2 section of the wiki.

Still nothing. It happened a while ago now and I'd like to know WHAT EXACTLY went wrong. Can SOMEONE. ANYONE. PLEASE. GIVE. ME. SOME. HELP.

This is crap.

Your "fix" did not give me any info.

Could someone, ANYONE from VDJ actually give me some help here? Jesus...

You said it only happened the one time...it is annoying I admit but, the odds are it was a fluke. Your frustration is understandable but try not to worry too much about it unless it becomes something that can be recreated on a regular basis. I have had issues from time to time on one of my machines..but if it cannot be re-created on a regular basis there is only so much that can be done. It would be like taking shots in the dark...

My issue is that his "fix" was just to upgrade. I'd like to know "what" went wrong since he said the upgrade fixed this bug.
