For some reason, my effects dont work on my vista laptop, but it works on my xp laptop. mind you that the vista is a dell and the windows xp is on an hp laptop. any ideas why this is happening?

Install the latest DirectX 9.0c files. Yes I know u have Vista and DirectX 10 but u can still install the older version and it will fix the issues.
