Topic: Minute markers in the preview

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

Hi,

I used Traktor before and in the preview where the waveform is displayed, there was an option to show or hide minute markers.
Could not find such usefull tool in VirtualDJ.

Is there a way to show them?

The idea of it is to see when the track gets quiet or loud again.

Thanks for your hint

Minute markers sound useful, indeed.
However - how do these markers help seeing the part's volume?
In case you mean it helps checking how much time you have left to the next passage, you could prepare the tracks with hotcues and use a skin with a cue-countdow (i.e. TCmania) so you have the EXACT time displayed on screen.

you can just add hot cues 1 - 10, but then you will miss out on being able to use them at significant moments in the track. you could use this on the keyboard in VDJ Home, it will scroll through your library list and set the first 6 cues as long as you hold the key it's mapped to. Be sure that is what you want though as it will delete any cues you have previously set.

load & set_cue 1 60000ms & set_cue 2 120000ms & set_cue 3 180000ms & set_cue 4 240000ms & set_cue 5 300000ms & set_cue 6 360000ms & browser_scroll +1

you are probably better off using this though as it is more likely to fall on the right place

load & set_cue 1 128 & set_cue 2 256 & set_cue 3 256 & set_cue 4 384 & set_cue 5 512 & set_cue 6 640 & browser_scroll +1
