vdj is the wrong program for it as you can't record live to the sampler and have it sync, it would take about 60 seconds from recording to setting a beatgrid to re-recording to playing in a sampler bank "if your quick".
I had a DAW plugin that I used with fruity a couple of years ago that has 8 feedback looping slots that you can use as a multitrack recorder for that sort of beatboxing. I can't remember the name, but pretty sure it was a link in an equilibrum video on youtube.
...just looked it up, it's called "mobius". I don't think it will work with VDJ but you could give it a try before going to a DAW

Agreed. It may even be better to go with a dedicated hardware product if you really want to do this, as that's what most of these guys use IMO/E.
Check out the Boss Loop Station series, including the RC-505 designed for hand use rather than foot use.
In fact DubFX is even on the product page for the RC-505.......

I would love an rc-505 perhaps one day. I do have a roland sp 555 that I have been looking for a foot switch for any suggestions? Thanks alot for the ideas.

My favorite tool for vocal looping is the TC Helicon Voicelive Play, that is until I can get my hands on the new Voicelive 3

My suggestions for a footswitch would be the two models mentioned in the manual.
Boss DP2 or FS5U.
