Was doing a wedding VDJ8 deck one started moving Sluggish like when we 1st got color waveforms in 7.4,had to close VDJ then reopen and work ok, but after thinking what if ,soI when back to 7.4.1 for the rest of that Night.

Today open VDJ-8 and now my music is Sync auto I look at autoPitcRange and it's on NO and rest pitchOnLoad yes and PitcLock Np( if i play a song that is 108Bpm it will auto sync the next song to 108Bpm )

Search the options for AutoBPM and turn the match setting to 'off'.

Still the same regression bug, appeared in 1890 and onwards up to 1932, not present on 1878 (thank god).
Mac version (MBP 13" late-2013, 2.4GHz CPU, 16GB RAM).
All the controller drivers are up to date!

Unable to use a Kontrol F1 and a Hercules DJ Console Rmx2 simultaneously.
The software detects 2xHercules DJ console Rmx2.

When plugging just the F1 in, it is recognized properly but the LED's don't work. (They used to work seamlessly in build 1878. Definition file below.)
(Update) The F1 + a DDJ-SX are detected properly (but the F1's LED's still don't work).

Tried tweaking the VID's in the F1's definition file... No luck.

The Kontrol F1 is not a natively supported device, so yes it may conflict with another unit if the definition is incomplete or incorrect. Its up to the author to update the files but you can try to add vid/pid to the existing ones (both MIDI and HID).

Please do not use this forum to post this issue again. Use the General Hardware forums to get more assistance.
Nothing is going to change in MIDI/HID detection. The VID/PID is essential for the proper detection in version 8 and drivername is not used in HID protocol btw.

I disagree Tayla, It is an easy way to list all the pertinent info (without error) allowing easy recognition to see where problems may be linked to other problems by common configuration. It also tells support whether the machine is underpowered and may be acting weird because of that.

Yes, but a simple line saying

OSX 10.9.2 / 2.6Ghz i7/ 8Gb RAM

provides exactly the same info and makes life easier for people browsing the forum on a mobile device. If every post in the thread included a screenshot of "About This Mac" or "System Properties" then threads would be a lot longer, be more painful to read and use more bandwidth.

Yes but you are assuming that everyone knows that info off the top of their head. and many times gets typed wrong after copying. I do understand that on mobile browsers space can be a concern.

A good workaround could be to :
- Take the screenshot one time
- Upload it to tinypic or other image hosting site
- Keep the link somewhere and post it whenever those infos may be needed

So, it stills a pic with no errors, but considers small screens browsers.

Because when betatesting, users are implicitely asked to be verbose about their issues, and it avoids 2 additional useless posts...

Look, if you have an image of your specs handy to post why can't you just copy your specs to note pad to copy and paste, less room on screen and looks more professional, sometimes I wonder what maturity some people are at when posting.

^ The fact that such a debate is even taking place is quite concerning. If you're 'testing' 8 then test it properly and report your findings in a concise manner. This stuff achieves nothing.

Problem with BPM Editor:
- Case 1:
Open BPM Editor whith a song and play it
Close de BPM Editor the song don't stop playing
Choose an other song in browser the news song is playing
- Case 2:
Open BPM Editor whith a song and play it
Choose an other song in browser the news song is playing but the waveform don't change.

They many solutions for developper to resolve this problem.
Case 1 stop playing on close BPM Editor
case 2 Change the waveform to use BPM Editor with a lot of song
