Mixed in key 7 after analyzing files and open in VDJ 8 no cue points is shown in the song in VDJ 8.
Although 8 cue points shows up MIK display viewer.
Any idea anyone? I check the appropriate box.

You've not chosen the application by ticking the box. You need to select Serato (VDJ doesn't read Traktor cues AFAIK).

Why would you trust a program to set your cue points!?!? Cue points are personal and everybody see theres just a little bit different I'm sure.

The MIK cue points do seem pretty random.
I guess it's a starting point though, if you've got a bunch of new tracks with no cues set. Once they're in VDJ you can adjust as necessary.

If you want an accurate key detection using vdj8 you must use the correct mode to suite your music. One mode is for electronic dance type music with a regular beat, the other is for a broad range of music types. It is unlikely those who tested vdj8 had any idea how it works.

I've just downloaded the VDJ8 manual, the idea being to get the latest version, however there appears to be no mention of the option to set the key detection mode.
Every time this option is mentioned it results in silence?

It's a joke to make it so complex, when it's possible to get 80% + accuracy with one algorithm/mode.
If experienced users and review site editors miss it then so will everyone new to the software, meaning we'll all be getting mediocre results.
I'm tempted to believe that the view of the teamers is that "If anyone cares enough they'll buy MIK"...
