What have you improvised for better viewing as you DJ under the sun as the laptop screen looks like a mirror which makes it difficult to view the rhythm waves? Playlist and controls are in daytime skin and that helps.

you can improvise a sun shield using a number of materials: cardboard, paper, cloth, bikinis, whatever comes to hand.
but having a cheap portable tent or shade is probably a halfway decent investment.

Have you tried a skin with the daylight option? Makes things really easy to see when sun glare is an issue.

And just to clarify the paint is just to dress the box up it's really not needed but you don't want to be known as a DJ who uses cardboard , lol!
