Thanks Rick, and Happy Holidays to everybody here in the VDJ family.

My December has been quite a whirl wind this time around, the holidays just landed on me here.

For those wondering, I donated a kidney to my mom on 12 7 who is doing fine now.
She had less than 2 years to live by what the doctors said, (I believe more knowing her).
It gives the seasonal spirit of giving a whole new meaning for me and my mom.
I have been sooo removed from the typical superficial buy and give meaning of this holiday that this new meaning comes with deep feelings like never before.

So cheers to all of you this time around, play safe and sober,

today i am up to my eyeballs in Christmas preparations.....i am going to remind myself not to stress and that it's supposed to be about giving.if you can possibly do so give back,and don't forget to jazz up the eggnog.....lol. i want to thank mp3jrick again for his patient answers to my STUPID video questions,and sky and norway for a huge amount of info on a lot of topics and a few laughs also.In the last few months i have been in the hospital myself and have bought my daughter a car and done charitable gigs and i just am not flush with bucks.......so i am holding off on buying probably just a nother week or so. i am grateful that i am okay financially and health wise and good things come to those that wait . 2006 was a tremendous year i did so much new and interesting....Merry Christmas !

it 's based on an episode from seinfeld ...... so that should indicate how incredibly important it is....lol. it's the uncommercial unreligious holiday for the restivus....you need to have a festivus pole (an unadorned pole of any size or sort but it should be dull and unremarkable) invite friends and family like usual ,but unlike any usual gathering instead of avoiding the inevitable have the airing of grievances wherin everyone takes turns telling someone how they were disappointed by them.....after everyone has had there turn then the feats of strength..... the feats of strength are not concluded until the head of thr household has ben pinned. lol no presents are given or expected....thta's festivus....lol
