I am hoping someone can help. I am using VDJ on my Dell Inspiron 600M, intel Pentium Mprocessor 725 (1.60GHZ, 400M). I recently purchased Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit to use with this. I purchased this as a solution to having only one audio output on my laptop and not being able to run both the RCA cable and use headphones for VDJs preview option.
I tried the setup last night and am having two problems.
1. After selecting SBLive as the soundcard on VDJ and using all the setup functions and setting and plug variations of front, rear, middle output jacks I can't get the preview option to work. I either get no sound or the same sound on both the stereo and headphones, neither seperate.
2. When just running audio (no headphones) through the Sound Blaster external, when I load up a new song on the other track it either slows down the current track immediately or the second track slows once played and then both continue to play with a slow, groggy sound. This is with the BPMs staying at normal. Not sure what is going on. Maybe my PC does not have the power to run this.
If anyone has some suggestions, would be super.
