Thank you. although the paper gives to you the necessary things i think it's better with a 12" screen. I'll try it very soon, i have one but i need to change the inverter cause the lamps don't work. I'll ask some help to Spazialex for build the box. Maybe i'll build a small computer with baby motherboard and everything on it.

Wow that is kickass! Is that lit from behind? I am assuming you could lay out any custom skin for it, like if you wanted just loops or efx or something like that? Crazy, good work!

Dude, that is unbelievable!

No MIDI mapping at all, eh?

You better patent that idea before M-Audio steals it...

:-) i dunno...for now i want to improve something...i have some ideas...
Dimensions are the same of hercules dj console..
..with a skin printed in a lucid paper, behind a blank plexyglass lighted by a white lamp..
It will appear like an lcd display...

That's amazing!

I guess that's like the touch screen part of a screen, but without the screen there!

Where can we buy something like that from?

Next change will be:
- 2 glasses instead of one, for have separated control of 2 decks.
- XY coordinates of glass A and XY coordinates of glass B will be used like midi commands instead of mouse position.
- The boxes will contain a customizable skin printable in a lucid paper and lighted with a neon lamp
(like korg kaoss pad)
- Mapper that read XY A, XY B positions and generate midi events comparing an xml scheme
For example: From position 0,0 to 20,20 = XY touch area...from 0,30 to 20,50 = Button play deck A
and so on.
We will have soon our Virtual Pioneer cdj 1000Mk3 or Denon..or Whatever we print :D

Very Nice Voltron...

Expand the PICTURES of the VDJ's Turntables so they are much bigger, the VDJ's Mixer, some bigger HOT BUTTONS and make the unit 19" rack mountable...

This would rock!!!!

All praise Voltron!!!

DJ TAO :)

Of a sudden, a part of the DJ world exploded out of a single idea - now where will this lead us to, I'm asking? :)
I've whatched the video over and over again, and I still think this idea is beyond words... :O
You blew me away, literally.

My uncle gave me this glass/usb controller. i don't know how much it cost. i'll look the prices. For now i'm trying to interface it with hercules console controls. I had only the idea to use it with a paper instead of a lcd panel. I can tell only that latency is good enuff for buttons, but i have to work in another way..for have 2 decks separated.
