The distortion that vista crates has nothing to do with the sound card. It was sounding distorted without the sound card. I know that you have to disable sound inhancements and some other things. Disabeling some settings may decrease distortion but its still there. I was looking in the microsoft forums and many other websites and found many having the same problem. In many dj forums they recomend windows XP. If Vista works fine for you and others, then you are good to go. I would like to use vista but i need to find the main cause or maybe change a driver to an updated one.
