Topic: Using the ShowLogo Plugin with an Animated Gif

I tried this but it gives an error message... does anyone know of a workaround to use an animated gif file in the software at all?

use 5.0 r2 and put your animated gif in clipbank

DJ Marcell.. Thanks.. Right Now I am Using Virtual Vinyl version 4.3r12
Is 5.0r2 a free upgrade?
Also I thought I read some ppl were having issues losing their videos when they upgraded to 5.0?
Finally is clipbank something new in 5.0 cuz I don't see anything like that in my version

OK so I upgraded to 5.02.. and the upgrade went FLAWLESS btw :-)
Anyway I thought I read someplace that clipbank would load with 12 samples in it? However all I have is 12 boxes that read "Empty Slot".

OK so back to the animated gif.. I right click on one of the empty slots and go to "Load File" I get a browser window but it seems my only option of files types to load ar "Video Files" If I use the pull down to perhaps choos another file type... no other types are available...


Any ideas or am I just missing something :-(

Hmmm well I got it to work.. but ONLY AFTER converting the GIF to AVI
..if anyone out there is interested I used a freesoft to convert my animated GIF file to an AVI which is what clipbank seems to play.
