I would like to map VDJ so that it behaves like PCDJ Red
for example...
1. when I hit match on the DAC-2 it should match the beat and *NOT* start the track automatically. I am sure this is a function of the skin but I do not know how to change it.
2. I would like to map the group up/down so that it moves up and down. PRESS and HOLD group button, then press left and right arrows (on either side of the group button) to change the left column
3. when scrolling backwards with DAC-2 jog wheel, It should scroll the same speed. When I scroll forward it is FREE and easy to move. when I scroll backwards, it is like FIGHTING the thing. put some code in there.
if controller equals DAC-2 and user is scrolling backwards, turn off the acceleration

Something needs to be done since there are no other rackmountable controllers out there. Just let us map it and all would be well.

What more can we say but we need this. The DAC 2 is the only controllers for VDJ that does not get worked on I know that this is a PCDJ controller but I love what you can do with it and VDJ.

Yes... we need mapping...PLEASE. There are many others using PCDJ that will make the switch to Virtual DJ when this is done.

If anyone figures out how to change the XML file, here are some PCDJ DAC-2/DMC1 mappings info
Waitlist + Load Toggles Elapsed / Remain time
Shift + Bend Increases degree of bend
Shift + Match Locks the Pitch back to the slider
Shift + Load Adds selected track to the waitlist
Shift + Jogwheel Scrolls faster between the tracks in the Recordcase when selecting tracks (This is only if the player is stopped)
Shift + Cue When playing, it brakes; when stopped, it goes to the beginning of the track
Shift + Play When playing and a cue is stored, it goes back to that cue and repeats for edit; if stopped it unbrakes
Waitlist + Pitch Pitch Span
Waitlist + Bend (+) When playing (in Player mode) increases pitch by .25%
Waitlist + Bend (–) When playing (in Player mode) decreases pitch by .25%
Pitch + Track Rev When playing, sets odd cue (loop in)
Pitch + Track Fwd When playing, sets even cue (loop out)
Pitch + Track Rev When not playing, moves cue back 1 beat
Pitch + Track Fwd When not playing, moves cue forward 1 beat
Pitch + Group Loads loop normal
Pitch + Preview Loads loop reverse
Group + Cue When playing (in sampler mode) activates
Loop Wait mode (no reverse looping)
Load + Pitch Bend While playing, adjusts pitch (small steps)
Prog + Pitch Bend (–) Creates 4 beat loop
Prog + Pitch bend (+) Adds 4 beats to loop
Waitlist + Pitch Bend Steps 0.25 % pitch when playing
Preview + Bend (–) minus 4 beat loop, auto-synced when playing
