i believe if you're seeing output gang 1, 2, and 3 which should be three groups of two, which in the sound card world means 6 outputs...

Youve lost me. The computer says output 1&2, 3&4 and 5&6. Does 1&2 = output1, 3&4 = output 2, and 5&6 = output 3 ? Im totally confused why the box is labelled differently to the software. Thanks, Ben

hi benji
if i'm reading this right you have a midi controller i don't so just guessing, which means you look as though you have three sound cards working, go into configuration, select sound set up, and choose from all the setup options drop down windows ie select 1&2 as left channel etc etc ...hope it helps and does'nt confuse you any further, but if it does there will be more help in a little while...

If you are using a 6.1 surround card think of it this way:
1/2 = front stereo output
3/4 = rear output
5/6 = center output/subwoofer.
On the virtual vinal soundcard they would be similarly arranged but not labeled as such.
(I don't own one so I can't give a direct answer)
So when using VDJ:
1/2 output - use a 1/8inch mini pin steroe cable to RCA (y-stereo cable) to your mixer. Or you would use the same type of cable in reverse for a Turntable input on a Time code set-up.

Software Output 1&2 = VirtualVinyl Box Output 1 (L&R = 1&2)
Software Output 3&4 = VirtualVinyl Box Output 2 (L&R = 3&4)
Software Output 5&6 = VirtualVinyl Box Output 3 (L&R = 5&6)
