Hey, i have a numark total control and im using vdj 5.1
I just bought a 5.1 sound card today however i still cant figure out how to solve my problem
I want a song to play using my logitech speakers and i want to preview the other song on the 2nd deck on my headphones only , and then be able to drop the track to beat match with the song originally playing.. any ideas??
ive tried every way under the options menu, no use

Make sure the card is set to 5.1 mode in the control panel of the soundcard.
if it's not set as a 5.1 card - VDJ won't be able to seperate the channels

Yes ur sound settings should be like this
input: none
output: headphones
SC: 4.1 cards
sc: ur 5.1 sc
output channel: master:front output, headphones: rear outputs
input: none
output: headphones
SC: 4.1 cards
sc: ur 5.1 sc
output channel: master:front output, headphones: rear outputs

The new version is great. I can't get sound on my headphones for the preview (couldn't b4 also) !!!!! what do need????
