Kausalität der Widersprüche!!!! Mr.T; überlege mal was Du schreibst! Ich habe mich köstlich amüsiert und werde weiter Serato einsetzen.
Im Normalbetrieb beim Mixen funktioniert alles stabil... es gibt aber bestimmte Zustände oder Funktionen z.B. die beim Einlesen, reloaden von Itunes Datenbank (dessen Problem bei Itunes lag), oder im Zusammenhang mit bestimmten Konsolen noch Probleme verursachen kann.

hallo mal ne kurze frage zur configuration von macos
ich hab nen imac 17" mit intel dual core proc 1,8ghz 2gbram und ner 1tb platte os ist snowleopard vdj ist 6.02
wenn ich vdj ohne console betreibe ist alles soweit ok aber sobald ich mein ns7 anhänge ist arbeiten nicht mehr möglich hängt ständig hat hohe cpu last und sound aussetzer wenn ich einen neuen track lade
meine fragen:
1. liegt das an der ns7 oder am imac?
2. kann man beim imac bzw. macos dienste deaktivieren um resourcen zu sparen ähnlich wie beim wxp die hardwareprofile
3. gibt es eine möglichkeit die oberfläche auf minimale last zu bringen ähnlich wie bei xp und vista windows clasic
da ich ein absoluter neuling mit macos bin wäre ich für detailierte beschreibungen dankbar
herzlichen dank für eure hilfe

hallo, genau das selbe problem habe ich auch.
ich versuche in meinen ordnern die bpm zu scannen und in einigen ordnern schmiert mir vdj einfach ab.
starte ich wieder neu und klicke auf den ordner in dem mir vdj bei scannen abgeschmiert ist, schmiert vdj wieder ab...
so wie ich festgestellt hab liegt das an einzenen mp3 dateien mit denen vdj nicht zurecht kommt.
wenn du die datei aus dem ordner entfernst, müsste es eigentlich wieder gehen...und stabil laufen...

komisch ist nur das ich die Datenbank unter windows Vista und Virtual Dj ohne Probleme einscannen kann

Die Platte sollte besser mit dem Mac Festplattendienstprogramm formatiert werden in FAT, sonst könnte es Probleme geben... ansonsten fällt mir nur ein das die Zugriffberechtigung ggf. noch stören könnte... versuch mal alles auf lesen und schreiben zu setzen was mit VDJ zu tun hat.

Also hab inzwischen mal eine Festplatte im OS X Format formatiert bespielt und versuch einzulesen wieder mit dem resultat crash was da los hatte mir eiegentlich nen macbook geholt um solchen Problemen in der Zukunft aus dem weg zu gehen hier der neue Report

Hast Du zufällig noch eine andere Festplatte rumliegen? Dieser Fehler ist meines Wissens noch nie aufgetaucht. Ich bin der Meinung, das Deine externe Festplatte einen Schlag hat.
Wenn es dann wieder ist, gibts die Erklärung wie man VirtualDJ von A -Z komplett deinstalliert. Dann hat nämlich etwas mit der Instalation nicht geklappt.

hallo armin gibt es eine möglichkeit ein eigenes unterforum für mac zu machen ich habe das gefühl das ich in den allgemeinen crashs mit meiner anfrage irgendwie untergehe und einen eigenen thread wollte ich jetzt nicht öffnen da ja alles was mac ist hier rein muss

also, ich habe gestern noch ein wenig rum getestet und an der hardware kann es nicht liegen. habe meine soundkarte und den controller abgestöpselt und die interne mac-karte zum bpm analysieren verwendet. leider trat der fehler wieder auf und wenn ich nun wieder neu starte und den ordner anklicke, bei dem es das problem gab schmirt mir vdj ab. das letzte mal hab ich dieses problem behoben, in dem ich alle wma dateien aus dem ordner genommen hatte...einige davon waren mit windowsmediaplayer gerippt und durften auf meinem mac nicht abgespielt werden. leider stürzte vdj dann immernoch ab. also habe ich geschaut wie es mit den rechten bei den mp3 aussieht. aufgefallen ist mir das ein paar dabei waren, die schreibgeschützt waren...hab das geändert und wieder absturz...also kanns das ja alles nich gewesen sein...also hab ich dann den ordner einfach mal auseinandergenommen und in verschiedene kleine ordner a 10 mp3 zerlegt....und siehe da nur bei einem ordner gab es den absturz...habe dann die üble mp3 entfernt und siehe da alles wieder in ordnung.komisch ist, dass die datei in itunes bzw. mit dem vlc abgespielt werden kann....werde nun noch mal mit mit wma testen und der "kapputen mp3" vielleicht liegt es ja auch nur am tag, dass da irgendwelche zeichen drinn sind mit denen vdj nix anfangen kann, da das problem auch beim tagscannen aufgetreten ist....

Also nochmal meine Datenbank funktioniert ja wenn ich sie über den Windowsrechner einlese also muss sie doch auch beim MAC funktionieren oder gibt es da wieder zeichen die man speziell nur unter OS x nicht nutzen darf?

Das kann ich dir leider nicht genau beantworten, ich weiß nur das ich mit dem Einlesen unter Snow Leopard und Leopard mit der Version 6 von VDJ keine Probleme hatte.
Wenn Armin wieder vorbeischaut und den Crashreport auswertet, kann er vielleicht mehr dazu sagen.

Hallo an alle,
ich habe mir vor 3 Monaten die dj console rmx von hercules gekauft. Ich habe einen Macbook pro (2.4 GHz, 2gb ram, 1 Jahr alt)
mit snow leopard. Das mitgelieferte Virtual DJ hat seit ich snow leopard ende August installiert habe Probleme bei der Wiedergabe.
Ich hatte dann den hercules Treiber geupdatet (mittlerweile auf der neusten Version, welche auch snow leopard unterstützen soll)
Außerdem habe ich inzwischen virtual dj auf 5.2.2 geupdatet (das neuste was in download center verfügbar war)
Nun das eigentliche Problem wenn ich virtual dj starte und ein Lied starten möchte, funktioniert dies nicht. Die Console reagiert auf den Play-Befehl nicht weder per Maus auf der Oberfläche noch an der Console selbst. Solange die trial der pro version noch verfügbar war, konnte ich in den soundeinstellungen die hercules rmx quasi noch einmal neu auswählen und dann wurde auf einmal Ton ausgegeben und in der timeline "läuft" der Song, mixen, anhalten etc. alles funktioniert. Aber leider eben erst nach der Neuauswahl in den Optionen. Da nun die trial abgelaufen ist kann ich diese neuauswahl nicht mehr treffen und damit leider keine Musik mehr starten, was die Console damit unnütz macht.
Vielleicht hatte jemand einen ähnliches Problem und eine Lösung parat. Da ich den Kauf der pro version eigentlich scheue, da ich die rmx nur Hobbymäßig vielleicht einmal im Monat benutze und ich nicht verstehe warum es zu beginn immer hakt, in den Soundeinstellungen unter mac ist ebenfalls die hercules console ausgewählt, daher verstehe ich nicht warum es quasi immer einen neuen Impuls brauch um zu starten.
