hello,

for my purpose, i have a series of over 2000 cd's that come to a gig at all times
i have a database program to assist and notice that keeping them divided by cd's helps me keep
orginized. as well saves me the time of converting(manually typing all the tracks)

please advise if there is a function to auto detect all tracks, or for my purpose keep the option

you meant audio cds or mp3 cds?
we are talking about a database of mp3 cds here.

I don't use it.

And I think new database will be better, just because you thought on update it :)

I am not using it (mp3 cd)
but audio CD could be improved (now your are able to use comments, but not a name or artist for the audiocd track)

(also if it's possible to avoid skipping, while inserting new cd...)

Not sure if anymore opinion is needed i think it almost 100% in losing a feature no one knew they had, but i also agree it can go.

Don't use it. You can remove it for me.

Now if only we can fufill those folks wish that VDJ had a Microphone
Vocoder and delay feature. That would be cool.

Anyway, great job that you're doing, can't wait to see version four
