the Chicago concert was amazing .......... i got there early and i was chit chattin' with this family seated next to me on the lawn ...... they had brought dad for father's day .... America hadn't started yet...... very suddenly there was this babe right in my face ...... i said hello what can i do for ya ? she says are you here by yourself , and i said yes ...... she said merry christmas this is your lucky day .........she hands me a ticket which i knew was for inside not the lawn ........ i was dumbstruck .....big mouth chuck couldn't get his vocal cords working for about 30 seconds ....... the guy i was talking to leans over looks at the ticket and says wow you got pit 8th row ......... i had pit 8th row !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm starting to come back to my senses and i notice as she turns to leave she has a vip sticker on her jeans ......... so i finally got my mouth and my feet working again and followed her to our seats ....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i am a fan of the female form and of Chicago ........... i don't know what i coulda done to deserve that but thank you God ..........
anyway it went from great to greater i literally got up so close i slapped hands w/ Jason the bass player twice, he threw me and liz picks ......it was really amazing ..... one of those occasions where everything went spectacularly right ...........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i'm taking this as an omen .....it's gonna be a great summer .......

uhhhh i went to see Chicago as it does say..... all by my lonesome .......turns out she went by herself also but she had a comped ticket in the pit going to waste ......so she went to the lawn area and picked me out .....the video will be on the internet shortly ......

Anyway, Wow - I didn't know Chicago were still performing. Their songs have a lot of memories for me for my mis spent youth in the 70s and 80s . Probably too many memories if I could only remember them. ;-P

lol , sorry for the confusion .....when i saw them 2 years ago with Earth Wind & Fire ,Robert Lamm one of the main singers said "we're just a couple of hippy bands from the 60's and 70's playing songs with a positive message" then he added "i don't remember the 70's much , but they say i had fun" ....lol this time the other band was America !

I'm from the UK, i can understand everything you say, but i can see why those where English is not their primary language would struggle to follow you some times.
I think Chuck has wires attached from his brain directly to the Keyboard socket of his PC, so we are privelaged enough to see the random thoughts which flow through his mind. :)
