Topic: yet another hardware question

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

I just purchased Vdj and now I am looking at hardware.
would I want to get an ICDX if I was also getting a total controll?
I have not done much beat matching in the past. I would like to start. I am also thinking about a touch screen ELO
there seems to be a lot of equipment out there. I have done a lot of googling and youtube watching.
I don't see a clear answer of which one to get if not both.
almost seems like you need a usb mixer, total control and one icdx. but do I need any of this if I get a touch screen?

what are your thoughts?

First you need to decide what you gonna play audio or video also. How much is your budget and we will help you more.

I currently do audio but I am interested in learning the video side. I believe there is a market for it if it is done smoothly.
not to concerned about budget. Not saying I am a millionaire by any means. I just happen to feel that you get what you pay for.
I thought about today picking up the ICDX
but I would get other things if I new what to get. I want to play with videos but I currently don't have any.
where is the best place to get some.
I looked at Tophits USA
where do you all get them?

also is there a way to get an email when people update this post? I don't see one

I use video, it is good option of the program.
You can find videos on Promo Only or Rockamerica.
Also consider Pioneer CDJ 400, I like them more over iCDX ;)

just got the CDJ 400 yesturday Guitar center had 15% off.
I have been trying to think about how to over hall the system
I was thinking a touch screen next
still up in the air.
Also what USB mixer are people using?

If you wanna Pro, take a look at Pioneer 800 mixer, it has MIDI.

So does the new 400, i would check out the new one.
they have made a lot of changes.

are you talking about the new DJM-400 being MIDI, or the CDJ-400 being MIDI?

that would be killer if the new DJM-400 had MIDI

my bad I was thinking CDJ 400 (cd player)
I made it as clear as mud.
I will look at Pioneer. Midi would be great.

ya i can't manage to find anything saying ht DJM400 is MIDI, or any plans to make it that. However, i did find out that the DJM-700 is now MIDI for a more budget-oriented alternative to the DJM800.

Unfortunately, up here in Canada, the DJM700 is still over $2000.00 :(

Yeah, that is too much for the mixer.
