Out of technology interest, what other software is there out there that is competitive with VDJ?
I haven't seen anything as solid, simple and user friendly as Virtual DJ, the ease of recording mixes is a major advantage!!
I looked at the trial of the Pioneer DJS, but didnt like it at all.

Ableton live but with a very high learning curve.

VDJ is probably the best solution at present however the company marketing & supporting it I feel are poor. It needs bought over by a more professional outfit as my feeling is that the whole vdj show is ran by 2 guys in a garage!
BPM studio has virtually disappeared as Alcatech were a one man band pretending to be something bigger. I can see some similarities here.
