That information is normally stored in the "VirtualDJ Local Database v5.xml" on the root of the drive where was your music files are stored.

This post may help you sole the missing cue points and info.

The Hercules post is fairly standard tweeks to help with the performance of a PC. The only thing I don't 100% agree with is not having AntiVirus software on a PC even if you don't connect to the internet you always run the risk of getting a virus from an external USB hard drive or from a USB thumb drive.

Yep. Done all that already for the RMX, it's useful info.

Did you move your xml database aswell.

VirtualDJ will create a database on the same drive as where you files (tracks) are kept. If this database has been moved, renamed or lost then VirtualDJ won't recognizes the files, so that's why you are missing your cue points and BPM?

There is a way of sorting it out, but first you will have to find the xml database.

*Edit* Bonaparte beat me to it

to many instructions i dont understand have 2 vdj databases on my hdd now.jimmy did you find the pc performance tips from hercules works

Basically yes mate, I've also done other things, but I won't go it them, may confuse you even more ;)

As for the database issue, get a ticket sent off, explaining things, hopefully cstoll will get on to it. He is the best for database issues IMO, Chris has help me a couple of times. He will advise you on how to sort it out.

It's quite simple.

dont mind being confused if my rmx and vdj work sweet lol.theese new vips know nuting lol only jesting jimmy

LMAO!!!!!!

Nothing all mate, bloody shite ;)

you know i love you guys always help me a lot.so any other tweeks guys

There's one or two, but thats see how your RMX performs first before tweeking stuff.

It's a waste of time and effort doing it, if your RMX runs sweet in the first place.

no bother jimmy.is it just the normal effects on th 6 buttons r can you get loop sampl plugins on

Hey I haven't performed the things you listed on Hercules webpsge but from reading it, I'm thinking it would be worth running it. A couple things on it really made sense, like power consumption. Like an amplifier, the worst thing you could do here is underpower your rmx, so that part seemed useful.

does anyone know will theese changes help or hinder my laptop for my vdj and rmx
