or is it ????
i have virtual folders that are disappearing and/or coming up empty ?? i also seem to be finding lotsa trax to reanalyze ????
so obviously i wanna know is this a glitch with the database or is my external hd about to croak ??
i couldn't run CHKDSK on my external HD , but only cuz windows psuchs ...... so i wrote to Fred , the friendly tech support guy at Diskeeper Corp. and he explained to me how to force CHKDSK to run on an ext drive ....(you have to dismount the drive ) ... the drive is ok according to CHKDSK .....
so now what ?? also if you can be so kind lets not talk about back up procedures like make a playlist and view in wordpad ....
i'm weird but i'm not a dain bramaged aoler ..... you should consider all items like that to already have been done ......
so far i am not noticing any real folders missing ........

i dunno what to tell ya chuckels. i've read of others who have but can't remember any of the fixes and can't find them so far while searching (let's not go there) but i cant say i've ever had that problem.
of course that might be because i don't use virtual folders...

thanks for tryin'......
lemmee see if i got this right ..... the program is in C: program files , the database is on the drive with the music ( the ext hd ) and the samples and skins and plugins are with the program files also ?? i believe that's correct
so if the database is corrupted could that be because the ext hd that it resides on is decomposing ??
but if that were the case real folders could go bad as well and i'm not seeing that .......
what do you use instead of virtual folders ?? i use 'em cuz i don't wanna make a lot of duplicates
also clean optimize neuter , er fix ain't workin right ??
