Topic: Virtual Dj wont Run

i have installed virtualdj onto my mac and have it in the applications folder and also into the dock. but when i click on it in the dock it just 'jumps' up and then nothing.

Any ideas whats wrong

Pls register ur serial n upgrade to the recent v5.2.1 mac;)

Have just downloaded v5.2.1 and has come up with the instal file but when i double click on it the installer comes up in the dock but nothing else happens it just stays theres.

Any help please.

Hi welcome to the mac community.

Could u delete the preferences file and try to reinstall. Also can u open the software via application not by the dock??

use app zapper to remove vdj and reinstall. After that repair you permissions, then set the VDJ folder to read and write.

i thanks for the help will try this later when get home to my mac.
Just one thing just want to check what OS should i be running so i can use Virtual DJ correctly.

Best use with leopard but tiger is fine;)

Ok kool thats good then, Just my mac hasnt got the specs to be able to run leopard well enough. :)

This are the recommended system requirement on mac.

Mac OSX 10.4.7 or higher
Mac/Intel Core Duo 2.0 GHz or higher
1 GB RAM of higher
200 MB free on the hard-driver

Minimum system requirements on mac.

Mac OSX 10.4 or higher
G4 1.5 GHz or Intel Core Duo 1.6GHz
512MB RAM

But urs should be able to run vdj. Regards;)

His Powerbook only has 800 mhZ, no wonder it won't run.
