interesting note........ on the serato forum a responce to an issue is ' let me know if you can use the vci-300 with other midi apps' this was from serato tech staff to help pin point an issue

point taken, i do understand where ur comin from there since i do travel a lot to (though not for gig purposes...i wish...hahaha)
n i like taking my stuff with me, in case i get bored in my travels
while it may not be in ur case my post was mostly in general, and from what ive read of other users...doubt that everysingle one of them travels for gigs and such

its starting to get tiring of like not hearing anythin about it but hype, and the only date to go by is pssl.com so if its not out by the date they have u know they change to another date, which then will have u waiting...til they change it again
someone just say release date on 2257 or somethin!

Thats impossible, as Vestax has not offered a midi driver and it seems due to contractual agreements have no plan to do so.
Tsk Tsk, Guess we will just have to wait with abated breath and hope that somone hear our cries :(

actually my new address wasnt associated with my credit card so the order for the vci-300 didnt go through...... that being said i will wait three more weeks

I'm still leaning towards the VCI-300 for my new gear to come...
Reason being portability...
It does not have a moving platter like NS7, but being used to CDJs, thats not an issue for me...
The NS7 looks nice too, so not decided all yet, but its a bit of a big mofo ..hehe
