Topic: i want to try tcv with vdj

if i download the trail version i only have cue le it says i can try it for 20 days no limititations i also borrowed my friends turntable and i happen to have a uca 202 berhinger sound card will it work?

Yes it will work but u need to have 2 of those uca 202 for 2 decks.

Hope u enjoy the experience and will join us soon as a pro edition user;)
 
ok so i downloaded it and it keeps fluctuating from 100% to 30 % withoutout even trying to scratch it sounds horrible. any help
 

Try the RIAA Preamp option - Check it

im using an old turntable its a gem sound djl 1200 the sylus is a stanton disc master my sound card is a beringer uca 202 system specs are
intel celeron
520 @ 1.6ghz
2.00 of ram
vista
 
18 days to go i cant get it to work right
 
Normally the needles last for about 4 months with intensive use. How old are these needles? More then with normal vinyls, needles are very, very important with TCV.

I believe it's your soundcard that you are struggling with and not the timecodes. Go out a buy something like a ESI Maya44, it's a fairly inexpensive card (I would say about $100-120) over in the states, and easy to set. And I believe you won't have this problem.
 
so today i went to guitar center and bought virtual vinyl because mr jimmy said go buy a better sound card so i bought it and i notice the box was open i had a discount coupon for 20% OFF SO I WAS GETTING A DEAL ONLY 269 OUT THE DOOR SO I TOLD THE GUY SINCE ITS OPEN can i try to register it before i leave the store and he said ya so i tried and lo and behold it was invalid this is the second time this happens to me it happened to me when i bought a hercules so then i said well can you order me another one for the same price he said no so i gave in and bought serato i was going to wait fro the ns7 it keeps changeing dates and gc had a cdx for 299 so i picked it up also. ah well now i will try with the sl1 box before i buy vdj i have cue le if i can get it to work right i will buy vdj pro

wow... so you spent $400-$500+ on Serato
and if it works you are going to spend another $299

Why not just use Serato Scratch Live? You bought it... got the soundcard, TCV's... makes sense.

... and I am not trying to tell him not to use VDJ. I was just thinking practicality.
 
s..t now i think i have to buy a mixer total control wont work with sl1
 
im still tring to use it will it work if i try one turn table and one cd player? how can i get the cd so i can try it only two weeks left?can i get it from here?
