I've taken the plunge and bought a Hercules RMX that I'm very pleased with. Now looking to re-program the numeric buttons, ideally to something like
1 - 2 beat loop
2 - 4 beat loop
3 - 8 beat loop
4 - 16 beat loop
5 - Backspin
6 - Beatgrid
I'm using the 21-day trial edition of Virtual DJ pro and can't find any way to do this. The remote control settings are set to Hercules RMX, and the only way I can find to tweak what the buttons do is to load the RMX skin and use the drop down menus alongside the buttons. Problem is there's no option in the dropdown for 2/4/8/16 beat loops.
Is there any way around this? Maybe through loading a midi file and editing the assignments directly?
