Bought the license last week. Very happy.

(Sidenote):
(I was at a gig last night, patron at the bar saw I was using it - said he just downloaded it from a torrent bla bla bla..dirtbag.)

Anyway,
My questions:

On Mac Version with external control (Pioneer CDJ's)...
1) When I add tracks to the Automix list, I see I can re-order tracks. Simple. But How do I delete a track? I tried the ole 'Delete' Key, but notta. Right click options, i don't see 'Delete' there either. Am I missing it?

2) When playing an Automix list, how do I segue to the next track? Does it have to be done by pressing the "Advance Track" button on the Pioneer CDJ?

Thanks!

I finally learned to click that pesky button at top left to monitor this string. Weird Forum ;) But whatever, killer product!

Just drag the track from the list back to the browser area.

You can double-click the track to force the track to play.

Thanks for the reply. That will work, but seems a bit quirky at best. Limited.

For deleting a track in an Automix list, my suggestion would to be able to press the Delete key to delete (duh) and/or at least add to a right-click option.

As for playing the next track on demand, double-clicking is also limited - if that's the only option. Does it actually segue the next track or just drop it like a 10 pound weight? I'll test it later. It would be nice if there were options to click for the segue type. Let's face it, we all need it (early in the night before a crowd). Pic attached as example. Thanks again for the reply.

Not sure why it's not working for you - I've just stuck some tracks in the playlist on a default VDJ install, then pressed the delete key and the track was removed.

Oh, just released, it's probably a Mac specific problem then?

I'll try again. R u on a peecee or mac?

What about Segue? Does double-clicking a track drop a bomb on the track playing? Or does it SEGUE?

It sounds obvious but make sure you first highlight the track in the side list and then press the delete key. It should work if you are using PC. Don't know about mac.

Cheers on your new purchase! Welcome to the community.

that way is longer, you got to highlight and then delete, best/quickest is to do it the way cstoll advised "drag and drop"... easy

On the MAC it is a Fn+Delete (as Delete by itself is considered a backspace in VDJ)

As for the double-click -- it's approx a 4 sec fade mix. You can setup a keyboard shortcut to do the following action -> automix_skip

Then all you have to do is hit the shortcut and don't have to double-click on the track.

Thanks to all for posting. I really appreciate the support. I'll try the suggestions and reply. Busy weekend. 2 gigs and a Bridal Show, yipee!~~
