Its an excellent controller that features a one of a kind video fader and when coupled with the mapper allows user adjustments and tuning.
No sound device is built into this controller, this you may want to consider based on your existing sound device.

there are only 2 cables for the dmc2, power and 1 USB.

You would need a soundcard like DJ i/o or Maya 44. You would also have to use a traditional mixer or usb mixer as well. The soundcard will separate the left deck and the right deck.
DMC2 is a nice piece of equipment to have.
