Question gang...
Is it possible to map the crossfader to a button (NOTE) on the vci100? What I would like to do is just 1 button to crossfade back and forth? Is this possible using 1 button? If so how? I have tried playing with the settings and I can't even get it to go all the way over? If I hit the button it only goes to the left (from deck 2 to deck 1) if I have the value at -127 and this is with momentairly unchecked.
If I have to use 2 buttons (one for from deck 1 to deck 2 and vice versa) what would be those values?
Thanks a bunch.

Left would be 0
Right would be 4096
Right would be 4096

Thanks Brian. I'll give that a try this evening.
I'm guessing that I have to use 2 buttons to pull this off instead of one button doing it all?

you could use the shortcut "crossfade hamster" in the system area. this reverses the crosfader with every press
hope that is a bit more on the lines of what your after

hmmm neither seem to do what I'm after. the one brian suggested cut/abrupt. I'd like to hit the button like on the dmc2 where it performs a smooth transition going from deck 1 to deck 2 and vice versa.

U are looking for Auto_crossfade. This is for both Audio and Video.
You can set it with 2 buttons Ie left arrow and right arrow and it will smoothly crossfade.
