I have a VGA lead that is connected to a projector and when I connect it to my laptop a buzzing sound goes through the PA, I use a RMX. Does anyone have any ideas?

Ground loop problem maybe?
 
Yeah this is one thing were going to have a look at tomorrow, we have a combo situation going on! Some items are powered by proper plugs and leads that include and earth (3 pin) and others are only two pin.

I'll upload a picture of this DJ booth tomorrow just for a laugh, the wires are out of control. As usaul the DJ was the last person thought about.

I'm from the UK but am currently working in Bahrain, I see your ground loop isolator thing may have to get one to try after tomorrow if it's not fixed.

Thanks anyway, we need little away flags so that we can add them when were DJ abroad.
 
I have a buzzing issue also but I think this might be different than others I have seen. My buzzing is loud and occurs for no apparent reason. The software will be running fine. Then suddenly the buzz will start. It is loud, and is as loud as the output (music). The only solution I have found is closing the program and restarting. This problem only started in the last few months.
 
had the very same problem untill i bought a numark djio external sound care for around ~£80 never had a problem since perfect sound even in big clubs :)
