Topic: How to setup Audio8 Dj with VDJ in OSx

Id like to find information on how to setup the Audio8 Dj box with VDJ in OSx.

I tried with what i already know, Aggregate device and all, and it's not working for me. NO sound what's so ever.

I have a Macbook Pro (Unibody) 15", 2.4 ghz and 2gb of RAM.

The Audio 8 DJ needs a driver installed on OSX which u can get from the NI website
 
Yeah i got that, i even tried to setup he aggregate device, but i cant get sound or anything ...
 
I have to say I just installed and it worked sorry I can't help more
 
Really, what type Mac do you have ? You didnt need to setup an aggregate device ??
 
I use the new unibody mac book pro that i that i got last nov

no aggregate device just select it from the drop down in VDJ
 
Nice... Wiche driver do you have for the Audio8 DJ ??

Hi.

My program crashes whenever I try to setup run the timecoded function using the Audio 8. Please advise I am using a Macbook and a VDJ Version 5.2.1 Mac.

I dont use timeocodes sorry but i cant help
 
I also run into problems when attempting to connect audio8 with VDJ and use my Pioneer CDJ1000 with timecode. Does this mean that VDJ does not recognize the audio8 and timecode? If so, does that mean that a high quality soundcard like the audio8 does not work with VDJ? I am confused when attempting to search for a definitive answer for this. Please advise

Confirmed! :) Audio 8 DJ can now be used for timecode with VDJ 7.0.2 with just a little but... :(

I can't view timecode configurations. I tried so many times but everytime I click on the "timecode config" button or the "apply" button after setting the inputs and outputs on the advance configuration panel, VDJ freezes. So I have to click "OK" directly.

Is my Audio 8 DJ pre-configured behind the scene?

Specs: Mac OS 10.6.4

My Feeling Is The Trouble With Your Software.But I Cant Help Much Further About It Because Im PC.
Try It Again By Clicking The "Restore To Factory Settings" In The Info Tab.And Also Cable The Audio 8 Dj Again.Take The Help From This Video.Maybe U Already Now.

Hmm, i work sometimes with TCCD and the Audio8DJ.
Since the V7 it works pretty good with Timecode.

Can you tell me something about your setups and your adjustments?
