Topic: BPM Increases

Please can someone assist me.

I recently tried to set up virtual DJ with TC Vinyl. I attempted to use it about a year ago and never really got it working properly. Now with my new laptop it seems to be working ok except for one issue. The BPM of whatever track is playing starts to gradually increase once it gets about halfway into the song.

It often increases by over 15bpm which make it impossible to pull off a mix. The signal flutters from 100% to 0% and often the needle drop feature does not work. The only thing I can think of is the vinyls have got dirty/warped over time and may need replacing. They needles (which are fairly new) seem to be picking up lots of dust but would this cause BPM to speed up? If there anything else that could be causing this?

Thanks for any advice.

Please register the software to prove you have a legal copy.

Is your pitch control set to 0% on your turntables? what kind of turntables are you using? belt drive or direct drive? Also, u asid that your signal goes from 100% to 0% midway through the track. try auto configuring your timecode signal in the options. Perhaps it is your timecoded vinyl thats the issue. does this happen on both decks or just one? if it happens midway it suggests that perhaps your vinyl is damaged at a specific portion. try swapping your vinyls or turning them to the other side and see if the problem persists.
