...is "how can I protect my files from being stolen?" Well Fujitsu has come up with this clever device. If someone tries to connect it to an un-registered PC the data will be erased....

or you could get Renee to stand next to it.... or a bulldog chewing a wasp, lol

That's mice for protecting small amounts of data...but who makes something similar that will work on the HARD DRIVE so it can not be copied...that is the question.

I do it with TrueCrypt :-)hole hardisk is locked.

What about if the rightful owner has misplaced the Fujitsu device....:(

I Was having an issue with employees bringing their USB drives to the gig and stealing music but after I found this website, http://www.advansysusa.com/, and started using USB Lock RP my problems are no more. You will not be disappointed. If they connect a USB device that hasn't been authorized the whole screen blanks out and says DEVICE NOT AUTHORIZED please disconnect to continue. It will also log anything that leaves OR enters the drives via USB. There is a free trial version. Hope this helps.

That looks like a valuable system. can it protect multiple externals?

hehe... been waiting for the backlash for days renee, lol
