just when i start feeling better about cue something happens to knock it back down. i have been running cue on a vista machine for 5 months now with no real video issues.
today i had a private party then right to the club. cue worked great at the private party then i get to the club and when i go to load scroll text i get "Direct3d Not Initialized - have you activated video and the plugin?" well yes video is activated because the video is playing. the plugin is activated. i could only get it to fade transition between videos no matter what i changed the trans to it still onl did a fade. up faders would not respond to video only audio. meaning if i lowered the fader the video didnt fade out just audio. none and i mean none of the video effects worked cube, rotation, nothing. i didnt change any settings between the two gigs. i didnt do anythign but pack the laptop in its flight case and go to the club.

"scroll text" video plugin uses the Microsoft Direct3D in order to work. So the plugin loads Direct3D interface when you activate the plugin.
Apparently, the function used for that failed in your case that's why the plugin returned the message you had.

it wasnt working dfor any. i resotred to a point the day before and it sbeen fine since. thanks for the help.
