To the short. Everytime I plug the Hercules RMX into the laptop and turn it on, the computer says "FOUND NEW HARDWARE." And than it goes through this process of me having to cancel the "NEW HARDWARE SETUP." I eventually tell it to cancel. Than I load VDJ PRO, and it says ERROR IN THE ASIO driver. Than when I go to use the program, the software won't find the hardware, and I have to keep reloading the CD. Any one have an idea? You can e-mail me at eric@ebetalent.com. Thanks.
Make sure your hooking the RMX into the same USB port. I use my RMX on two different laptops. I always use the same port and never see that message.

I had this happen about a month and a half ago. Actually, my external went bad on the drivers. I could access the HDD but it wouldn't auto run. It kept asking to install so I had to cancel then my RMX did the same thing about 2 weaks later. No matter what I did I could't resolve either issues. I finally reloaded my OS. Now, my systems back to new again with everything running smoothly.
I can't explain, mainly because I'm not a computer geek...lol

Sorry my obvious question, but did you updated the new Hercules RMX drivers? Or reinstall it?
It seems to me that your computer dont recongnize the old drivers, anymore...

Plug the RMX in before you turn your PC on!

Charlie Wilson said it right. And shut down before you unplug it. I had the same problem and got the new drivers from Hercules webpage.
