basically my VDJ will run fine and then all of a sudden throw up a fatal errors for no reason and restart its self, or freeze, iv just spent 45 mins recordng a dub step mix and it did it on the last track and iv lost my full recording now, im getting sick of it and if it does it when i do a live set im guna look stupid!

Well what is the fatal error message?
Is it the crash guard from VirtualDJ? If so, then go to the My Documents/VirtualDJ folder, open the crashguard.txt file with WordPad and copy then paste the contents here on the forums.
If you are getting an operating system crash then it is most likely an problem external to VirtualDJ like the device drivers and/or system resource conflicts. Are you using the latest drivers from the Hercules website ( http://ts.hercules.com/ ) ?
