Topic: Difference between Automix Length and Auto-Cross Length

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

Does Auto-Cross Length have any effect on Automix Length and vice versa? I have Automix Type set to "Fade (Remove Silence)" and Automix length set to 1 second. I want to have it set so that when I automix a playlist, the next song will always come in 1 second before the prior song ends, and I want the next song to come in at full volume. Instead, the next song always fades in, but I don't want that. I guess I want to have it set like something similar to "None (back-to-back)" in Automix Type, except I want the next song to come in while the prior song is playing. Does Auto- Cross Length in the Options have anything to do with this?

Thanks.

I think the automix length refers to the combined time ie fade out of the current track and fade in on the new. If the tracks are close on tempo you could try extending the automix time and auto beat syncing so the drop off in volume is less noticable. Not exactly what you want I know but it might help.

Sorry to answer the question better I think autocross length refers to time it takes to fade from one deck to the other and the automix length will dictate the point before the first track finnishes at which the second track starts up. So the ideal would be to have a very fast autocross time to get away from the fade in/out. Not shure how badly a silent portion at the end of the first track might effect this.
