How can I make a knob on my Korg Zero8 scroll up and down on the browser?
I used to have a knob mapped out in Virtual 5.2.1 and it worked great. Now I can't figure it out in Virtual 6.0.1
I tried Bowser_scroll but all that does is go down every 9 songs or so.

Have another button...

set wheel_mode "browser" while_pressed

thens set your jog wheel to either ...... jog_wheel ..... or .... scratch_wheel

this way if you hold down the first button, you'll be able to scroll through your songs, then release this button and your jog wheel will return to normal

hope this helps

I just want to set one of the knobs on my Korg Zero8 to scroll through the browser. I basically want the knob to do the same thing the scroll knob on the Denon HS5500's does. Can anyone help?

bump.

So copy the script from the 5500 mapping and paste it for the Korg knob ...

The script for the Denon just says "browser_scroll". I tried that and all I get is every 9th song or so is highlighted downward. it doesn't matter which way I turn the knob, the direction is always down.

bump.

Same problem is with NS7´s browser scroll

For an endless encoder knob (One that can be turned continuously) or a jogwheel to work properly, you will need to create a controller definition file.

An example controller definition entry for an encoder:

<encoder cc="0x07" zero="0x40" name="PARAM1" deck="1" />

(The zero part is important for it to work correctly.)
