Topic: I GOT IT!!!!

So I had my audition for my residency I mentioned in another thread today....AND I GOT IT!!! this is awesome, lol. to be honest I was scared shitless cause like I said in the other thread, I didn't really think I was ready. but I went in there, didn't focus on that and just did what I do and nailed it. definitely one of my better mixes. I just thought I would share this with you guys. I start in about 2 weeks when the club opens.

Congratutations! Make sure you go in extra early to set-up iron out any unexpected problems also this tells the owner you take your work seriously - many DJS i know roll up to their gigs 10 mins before their meant to play. Have issues, starting late, losing coin and respect from the boss.

Don't know a lot about your music format or business profile, but hey you won through, well done. I get a buzz when folk jump in the deep end and win. Go for it and learn through experience and stay chilled.

yeah, I will post it up later man when I am near the DMC2 and external HDD so I can get the exact track titles. thanks everyone, and yes I am a pro user now (YAAAAYYYYYY, lol). but honestly, I was nervous as hell on the way there, cause I have only been digital what like a month if I am lucky, lol. but I just took some deep breaths, cleared my head, and said the hell with it and just did my thing. but I will post my list later on when I am around everything I need.

alright here is the playlist I did for my audition. its not a very long one (only 11 songs) but I didn't go in planning on even playing that many so, lol. his main deal was if I knew what the hell I was doing and if I could mix songs (beat match, loop, whatever I had to do to mix them) and not screw up and make it sound good, lol. anyway, here is the list of songs I mixed:
