Yup i bought it.
Before I got this I was using Numark's Totalcontrol. I have to say I'm quite impressed with the Imix reload MK II.
Performance wise, it hasnt failed me yet. Its asio soundcard gets latency down to 6ms or lower depending on your machine.
The only problem I had was mapping it. I had to start from scratch by creating a definition file because it isnt natively supported by VDJ. I'm no programmer so that was like the most difficult thing ever. I've got the lights and everything else to work fine now except for the touch sensitive jogwheels. Ive tried and tried but I cant get it to perform right. But this is probably a problem with my mapping and not with the controller cuz it works fine with its bundled software - Deckadance.
Numark's totalcontrol and the imix reload both have the ability to be powered by USB as well as by dc input. The totalcontrol would stop responding at least once at almost every gig ive had, It would get a bit annoying refreshing the controller etc. Im very glad that so far ive not had such an issue with the imix. The lights on the buttons of the imix go a bit haywire sometimes but the buttons still respond flawlessly. I'm hoping that the lights issue can be resolved by using a dc input to power it. Havent tried it yet.
It is pretty lightweight, probably weighs the same as the totalcontrol even though its dimensions are bigger. The knobs/sliders are way better than totalcontrol's. Its easy to add, delete and stutter cuepoints using the imix which is something i could never do with totalcontrol, and its something i love.
So all in all id say its a good buy. Im just hoping and praying that VDJ natively supports it in its next upgrade so that i can resolve my jogwheel woes. *Hint Hint*. I hope the VDJ team is reading this. haha.

No mappers are required - The DJ-Tech I-Mix Reload MKII is natively supported (Plug and play) in the latest VirtualDJ v7.0.2 Pro: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html
You can also try it out before purchasing for 10 minutes in VirtualDJ Home FREE: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/free.html
NOTE: After 10 minutes, Home FREE will revert back to mouse and keyboard control only until you next restart the software.

I would think that you are actually not using the latest released version. You need a newer than yours because the Controller semms not to be included there.
If you are using the Home Free version then it should work but only 10 minutes for testng because there is no MIDI support in the Home Free.
So if you are using the Professional Full (which is needed for Downloads to work properly because the most are designed for Version 6 or higher) just register it and update your version to the latest 7.05b.
Then it will work. About the download - it's restricted to licensed users only because with the Home Free all these downloads are useles - so why should you download them ?
