Topic: Help with mapping DN-HC4500

Hi Guy .. i have just got a "denon DN-HC4500" controler which is work well with VDJ v6.1 but i don't get how to map the butons.... the factory settings for the control are ok. but i wound like to map the "FX1, FX2, FX3" with diffrent video transitons. i have mapped "FX1" to "video_transiton5" which will do the video transiton but only the one that is selected . i have try mapping the button but i must be doing something wrong.....please help...

Can anybody help please i wound like to get this sorted before tonights gig....
 
If you want the buttons to just select a specific transition, then simply map them as follows:

video_transition_select 'Name Of Transition'


If you also want them to trigger the transition, map them as follows:

video_transition_select 'Name Of Transition' & video_transition


Also, if you have just purchased the controller, please ensure that it has the latest drivers and firmware installed, otherwise you may experience problems: http://www.denondj.com/firmware.aspx?ProductId=81
