Let start off by saying thanks to all the experienced users here I have been a digital DJ for over 10 years. A few months ago I switched from Pro club dj & BPM Studio to VDJ. I must say it has it all in place very well. With that said I am looking for a controller to add the ability to scratch when doing videos and playing. I do mostly weddings and a few parties that's why I need something I can use that will be able to be used for both. Please no fighting on which one is better. I am looking for facts and personal feels.

If you are looking for a rackmounted solution, the Denon DN-HC4500 would be a good choice. It's a 3U dual CD-player style controller with touch-sensitive jogwheels, so scratching is possible.
It has a built-in sound card, and it can be hooked up to an optional CD drawer unit allowing you to use it as both a controller and a standard dual-CD player (Very useful as a backup.)
The display screens show the track info (Artist, title, time elapsed or remaining, bpm or pitch %, etc.) so you have this information right in front of you without needing to look at your laptop/computer screen.
When used in conjunction with the Denon X500 or X900 mixer, you can also use the real mixer crossfader to crossfade videos.

no controller alone will allow you to really scratch. you would need some sort of cdj or similar and a midi mixer/controller for fader and knob control etc.

@atfmdj - what's wrong with your VMS4? I know the jogs are tiny, but you should be able to scratch somewhat with it.
