VirtualDJ is a multi-threaded application so it will take advantage of multiple processor cores.

We are currently using VDJ with Intel Q9950 & Q6600 Processors and they work perfectly.

my opinion, go with the fastest dual core you can afford.

I have VDJ on my quad core 2.83 in my studio to just play back music here and there. I have nothing but trouble. It shuts down for no reason ect, not 1 problem on my dual core 2.2 laptop.

ok seeing that i do bench marks for pc's the 4 cores or faster just run pc mark and you will see
i had a quad and then went dual im not happy .

its a 220mm 5V fan biger fans make less noise and push more air
