how well would it work..just wondering???

It would be very dangerous, your memory stick will explode. It would be more dangerous than running with scissors or putting a dry cleaning bag over your head and trying to breathe.
Seriously though it would not be a good idea. The first reason is you would be using up one of your (2) allowed installs per the EULA End-User License Agreement. VDJ would also create the database on the memory stick which is not a great idea.
There are probably other reasons as well but I can't think clearly this early in the morning. I would rather take a shower with an LED lighting effect (like DJRUDE-PUPPY) than run VDJ from a memory stick.

Totaly agree with Renee (But then again who wouldn't) "Rude-Pup" LMAO!
For the time being USB will not provide an improvement in performance purely because the speed that it runs at is slower than the SATA or IDE hard disc interfaces in your computer. Memory sticks are getting bigger all the time and I don't thing it will be long before the speed comes up as well. USB 3 anyone? So for the future how cool it would be to take VDJ and your music/ vid files and just plug into any system. But for the moment there would not be any performance benifit.

Hello, my name is LED Lighting Effect, and yes, I would love to take a shower with you.

awsome man maybe when that happens virtual dj will be sold on a none extractable memory stick that way it would not be possible to copy it. just imaging going to a club for a gig and just plug in your memory stick to the clubs computer....if anything goes wrong with the comp it would not be your fault.

The registry settings would need to be contained locally some how.
You could save the EXE on the memory stick but there would be nothing to contain the settings, mappers, skins ect.
