Just wandering if in a future release that there could be a chance that there is some way that you can manually enter BPM by way of the number keypad rather than using the up and down controls on the turntable. This would be a great feature when wanting to do strict tempo mixing.
This would prove to be of much use so that BPM could be quickly entered on the fly by way of the number pad ensuring that the correct BPM is acheived.

click on the song you want to change....then right click go to BPM pick manual edit... hope this helps!

I think you misunderstood his post. He wants to be able to speed up or slow down a track by typing in the bpm, not set the original bpm of the track. Doing a manual edit by opening the bpm window would not achieve this.

Many thanks for the clarification on that one there "dizzyrocks2001". You were right on the money with what you were intimating to BOB and it is exactly what I was hoping for as a future feature development. In my world of Competitive Ballroom Dancing I need the tracks that I load to be an exact BPM and at the moment I find myself having to constantly use the pitch control slider to adjust the BPM to suit the dance that is going to be danced at that time rather that loading the track and then typing in by way of number pad the exact BPM for that dance in readiness to play the track. This feature would be really neat and save heaps of lag time in loading and then playing the track in such a short time frame for the couples. Maybe someone has some other ideas on whether this can be achieved by way of some sort of modification to the Kernel of the program. mmm thoughts to ponder i think!!!
