I have a laptop and a rackmount running at most every event, with the rackmount acting as the primary system. When I do bars I'll bring just the laptop and play off that. Is there any way to sync the database between the two systems so that if I set cue points on one they show up on the other?

As long as the directory (and file structure) structure of your music is exactly the same. All you need to do is copy [My Documents]\VirtualDJ\VirtualDJ Database v#.xml to the same location on your second machine.
