Hi everyone, i am new to this Virtual Dj scene but am extremely intrigued by it. All I see is Dj using Macs & I need to know how to get started & what equip/computer do i need, where to purchase, etc...
I was a mobile dj for 7 years, my last stint was 2003 and never used a computer to dj. I wanna get back into it but need to know where to start. I am thanking you all in advance so my journey can begin...........advice please.

The best starting point would be to download the trial and see how you get on with the software. VDJ is a very flexible software platform and with the availability of all kinds of supported hardware, it can be configured to suit you.
For the people who like the feel of vinyl, for example there is the timecode vinyl where you can use turntables to control the software. For the people who are happy using cd players there is timecode cd so you can use your fave cd players to control the software. Finaly there are a load of different USB based controlers that can hook right in to a pc or laptop and control VDJ.
Many Djs start off by buying a package which includes VDJ and some form of controller so they can get straight to it. Have a look in the Products section for some ideas. Above all spend some quality time searching the Forums as most if not all the information you will need is here somewhare. There are some very helpfull setup guides to keep you on track and if you get stuck, just ask.
