i have always left mine at default but am curious to see what others set there ZeroDB to and what did you notice when you changed it? if im reading correct if you have it set at a lower # that default it will actually be lower than 0 but display 0 on the gain knob in Cue?

Exactly djsynystr.
If you change that value, you will display 0 but the real value will be different than 0 dB. It can be useful if you have an external sound card which doens't allow you to change the volume of the single channel.
I suggest you not to touch that ;)

ah ok i figured to leave it but you know always trying to improve sound and figure out what features do when i change them. so i would making it higher than default make it louder at 0?

you can easly do that by downloading djcel Registry tool:

Try to change to default value with a greater one and you can understand what happens.

If you end up trying this, please post your experience..
I'm thinking of trying it myself, as I am wondering if it might help with some of my videos that seem to be maxed out in gain.. (and theirs no more room to increase the gain to make them closer in 'level' to most of the other songs)

I set it lower than teh default value. Setting it lower will give some better sound quality on my Denon 4500 sound card. I don;t have my gig machine at hand but could look at the value this weekend if needed.
